Self portraits are my favourite kind of photo. A collection of feelings and memories,they trace a path from where I was to where I am now. Although they are often mistaken as a vain act, I don't believe vain exist in art.
i like what you say here Gabrielle. i wouldn't have thought of this, but i agree. unless maybe one's vanity got in the way of the art so the persons' focus was herself instead of the art, if that makes any sense. anyway, beautiful, interesting pictures! Cuddly Cacti Mitla Moda
