NOTES AND SOUNDS

I haven't talk about music on this blog and I don't know why. Music is a big part of my life, and always has been. I grew up in a musical family. My dad is a great singer/musician and I would (and still try) to follow him at every band pratice and show. I used to secretly record myself on his old tape recorder, singing Billie Holiday tunes, until he found the cassettes and asked me to sing while he played guitar. This is where my passion for singing really started and I haven't stop since. I am open-minded when is comes to music genre, I don't judge music by it's style. Although I can't get used to rap or techno, I probably don't listen to it enough to appreciate it. If I had to choose to listen to one music genre for the rest of my life, it would be jazz-folk. There is nothing more interesting to me than a jazzy voice on a folk melody. Just thinking about it gives me shivers. I spend a lot of time onYouTube searching for inspiration, and thought I'd start sharing great songs I found.

This is what I've been listening to lately :

I linked my You Tube channel on the left side bar. Have a listen if you feel like it.
I'd love to know what kind of music you have been listening to, share them in the comments below. :)
