NEW TO ME

Scarves are my favorite accessories for fall. Especially the big bulky ones.
I thrifted this little gem this weekend and I've been wearing it ever since. I think I'll be sleeping with it til spring.

LACE CROP TOP DIY

I love DIYs... I love the thought of them but I rarely do any. Wait that's not totally true. I love to recycle things and give them new life but never find they are worth showing on here. Anyways, I thought I'd let you in on this one. It was a very easy DIY. It takes about five minutes and if you are as lazy as me, you can do it while lying on your comfy bed.

So I bought this shirt a couple years ago and loved it for while. After a long time of not wearing it I thought I'd give it a twist. What I did is put it on, measured the lenght I wanted it to be. Took it off, measured again and cut it. I did the same for the sleeves. I love crop tops with a knot so I cut the front part in a triangle and then cut the triangle down the middle, tied the pieces together and voilĂ ! (Here comes the laziness again... I didn't sew the sleeves. But you should.)

Brown faux leather boots - 5 $

I haven't been lucky in finding boots that fit me. They are always too small. So I was happy when I found those ones. They fit perfectly! Did you guys thrift any cute treasures this week?

NEW TO ME

A new post which will be happening every thursday called New to Me. About a year ago I discovered that I love thrifting (according to my sister I am obsessed!!!). I always loved thrift stores and flea markets but since "the change" I  fell head over heels with it. There's something about a perfect vintage sweater that still has someone elses smell that makes me dream. There is always an unknown story behind everything I find and that's what I love most. Anyways, "New to Me" is a series of posts where I will share my find of the week.

Turbinator Drylite barbershop hair dryer chair - 15 $ in working condition. I should give credit to Dan for finding this chair, but I begged him to go to the thrift store in the first place. For those of you wondering if I use it, I do. And it takes about 15 minutes to dry my hair which is better than a normal hair dryer... I have a lot of hair. Here is the result :
